Imaging services

X-ray

An X-ray is a medical imaging technique that uses a small amount of ionising radiation to create images of the inside of the body. It is commonly used to visualise bones, but it can also be used to examine other body structures such as the lungs, heart, and abdomen. Read more here.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging safely uses high frequency sound waves to produce images from within your body in real time and without the use of ionising radiation. In addition to being used during pregnancy ultrasound also provides high quality images of the organs in the abdomen and pelvis, neck, breast and blood vessels of the body. Ultrasound imaging is favourable when assessing soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and joints, as well as for needle guidance during treatment injections. Read more here.

CT Scan

Computed Tomography, also known as CT scan, is a medical imaging procedure that uses a combination of X-rays and computer technology to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body. These images provide valuable information for diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions. Read more here.

MRI Scan

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a revolutionary medical imaging technique that uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to generate detailed images of the body's internal structures. It provides valuable information for diagnosing and monitoring a wide range of medical conditions without using ionising radiation. Read more here.
